About Angie
Born in Leyton, East London, Angie now lives in East Devon with her husband.
After a lengthy career in top London advertising agencies, Angie lived and worked in Cyprus for a number of years, before returning to England and embarking upon a 5-year stint as a Pub Manager in Bloomsbury.
Various office jobs followed, along with the decision to move to Devon in 2007, where between running a recruitment company, Angie found the time to pick up on her lifelong passion for writing. After cutting her teeth on some short stories, she wrote a full-length comedy novel (which she hopes to brush the dust off one day), before getting to grips with NUDEY BEACH.
Her passion is humour, but likes to mix it up with acute observations of human behaviour, dark themes, and in the instance of NUDEY BEACH, a large dollop of sex.
When not writing or working, Angie loves reading, going to the gym, the great outdoors and talking nonsense in the pub. For her sins, she still supports the Leyton O’s…
Angie is currently working on her next writing project.
